PAGODA a.k.a. UNIVERSAL SOUNDBOY is a dj since he was 14 years old,we he bought his first vinyl. Today he is playing with two mighty sound systems: FIRE FOUNDATION (REGGAE DANCE HALL) and REDRIOTMASSIVE (DRUM'N'BASS). With no doubt, Music is the most important thing in his life,and all his work is focused to upgrade his skills,and to reach everyday a bigger knownledge of any kind of music. PAGODA a.k.a. UNIVERSAL SOUNDBOY believes that research and daily training at the turntables, are the most important thing to do, to be a real DJ. His Mixtapes in free download in this page can prove that hard work gives results. the musical resarch is closley related to his filosofical studies,(he has become graduate in philosophy in 2007,at Bologna University) and realy involve any kind of Music,in an everyday work. Attualmente è riuscito a dimagrire parecchio,superata la sua stessa incredulità per questo successo insperato ha scritto e venduto a "donna moderna" una dieta a base di anfetamine per aspiranti veline. numerosi i biglietti di ringraziamento giunti dal parlamento. Recentemente è tornato al freddo alveo natale (definitivamente??mah!) dove porta avanti oltre all'ormai un po' famoso FIRE FOUNDATION SOUND sound(di cui è stato fondatore con mr.bassie) anche un nuovo progetto drum&bass chiamato RED RIOT MASSIVE che riunisce il il fire foundation e il dj e produttore bolzanino PITCH. Inoltre ,assieme a mr bassie ha fondato la SUBWOOFER SOCIETY,agenzia musicale che si occupa della promozione di eventi per tutti quelli che amano le basse frequenze Nel FIRE FOUNDATION è a rotazione speaker,selecta e cantante,ruoli che ricopre anche nei Red Riot. le sue canzoni più famose e conosciute nelle dance hall sono:politico,dove andrai,nome in codice e molte altre. Con Il fire Foundation ha suonato in alcune delle migliori location italiane per la dance hall come il livello 57,il link,l'àrteria,le pirata sulle scogliere del salento,oltre che all'estero come ad esempio alla treibhaus di innsbruck,o il mota festival di Barcellona.In questi anni ha accompagnato con il suo sound le esibizini di Buju Banton,Alton Ellis,The Wailers,Zion Train,Sud sound system,Radici nel cemento,benji e altri ancora Ha prodotto dei pezzi elettronici e co-prodotto molti dei riddim del fire foundation con don antonio e mr bassie. i suoi dj set solitari per quanto molto più rari rispetto alle esibizioni con il sound,rivelano un incredibile poliedricità all'interno della musica ritmica e "nera",oltre che una grande attenzione alla continuità e ai mixaggi,cosa che in quest'ambito musicale è tutt'altro che scontata. A questo riguardo è possibile scaricare liberamente alcuni dei suoi numerosi mixtape(indirizzi nella pagina) in generale è aperto a tutte le sperimentazioni musicali nella musica che sta tra il jazz e la drum &bass,stazioni intermedie comprese. è inoltre l'ideatore e cogestore con Ive(BangBass Sound) dell'Cominifromthecold,la pagina myspace che riunisce tutte le realtà reggae del trentino altoadige. potete leggere un po' delle disquisizioni filosofiche che normalmente intrattiene con il suo pesce rosso trascritte sul suo blog all'interno del sito ww.firefoundation.it.
