| Human beings, where to begin? I know! How about with yourself? Take a look within. What is it that you are looking at? Do you enjoy what you are looking at? Do you like what you see?
No matter what the answer is to the question I just asked you there is one fact that remains. "What fact is that?" you might ask yourself. Well, I will gladly tell you. But please, before we go any further, do me a favor and put on your thinking caps. Now, lets delve into what we humans call existence.
first and foremost, you don't even have a fraction of the smallest inclination as to how we came to be or why we are here. Read any book you want but I will still be right. Ink is just ink, nothing more and nothing less. Concrete fact is something completely different.
Now that I have gotten that out of the way I would like to get to the point of my topic. Obviously you are staring at a computer screen right now as you read this. Some of you might be on a desktop. Others might be on a laptop. Either way I want you to do something for me.
Look straight down at the ground your feet are on right now. Underneath the floorboards to your house or apartment lie sediments and soil. From these two things sprouts life. It comes in the form of plants. Tiny animals eat these plants. Larger animals eat these smaller animals and thus the food chain begins.
Basically what it boils down to is this. the Earth is alive. It is just as alive as you and I. it provides for us in every way, shape, and form that we need. Yet what do we give back in return? I will tell you. the answer is nothing. We give absolutely nothing back in return.
We are a parasite to the Earth that is killing itself through our own ignorance and stupidity. The worst part about all of it is that we are killing everything else as well. It seems as if there is no hope and there is no way to stop it. Our intelligence and superior intellect is our own worst enemy. No other species on the planet has devastated itself and everything else around it such as we have. It is beginning to look as if it is only a matter of time before there is nothing left but a path of destruction left behind by humans from when we once lived.
