| Beth Chandler is a classically trained musician who has performed in a variety of settings including rock, r&b, broadway, jazz, classical, chamber music, and country. Years of performance experience has taken Beth many places around the world as she has performed and recorded with such artists as Ben Vereen, Quincy Jones, Danny O'Keefe, Alice Stewart, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, and many others. Beth started out on piano at a very early age and added violin at the relatively ripe age of 15. Besides playing violin in several symphony orchestras, Beth is an accomplished keyboardist who has held lead keyboard parts in many major broadway productions locally at both the Paramount and 5th Avenue Theatres, and the Seattle Music Hall Theatre working with the Dave Lewis Group. Additional live performance work with groups over the years include playing with Seattle r&b icon Sam Smith, Korla Wygal, Seatown, Dave Peterson, Hans Teuber, LeRoy Bell, Kimberly Demetre, Robin Wiley, Kelly Harland and numerous others. Beth is currently based in the Seattle area where she has an active teaching studio and works with many vocalists, chamber music groups, rock and jazz groups, as well as plays piano bar. Beth's wide range of experience gives her music an eclectic mix of different generes. | |
