Though he's a new face to most, he is far from a stranger to the industry. After going through 3 failed record deals without so much as a mixtape released, Cat-Eyez burst out on the scene in 2007 with a vengeance. Independently creating the best year of his career without the backup of any type of record label. A regular guest star on Milo Management's Homo Revolution Tour and Showcases, he draws audiences in with his unique style and amazing word play. He's also been making cameo appearances in music videos for such hits as Melange LaVonne's "Gay Bash" and Foxxjazell's "Feel The Vibe" and "Sexual Thang", his face is popping up on the scene more and more. Not to mention that he has graced several tracks for other out artists for their projects. Dubbed hip hop's Ghetto Prince Charming, Cat-Eyez classifies himself as a Pretty Thug: A street smart hustler that throws glamour in the mix. Being an ex-gang member, he aims to show that gay people can come from the hood too and be just as succesful and talented as their heterosexual counterparts. He was the opening act at the first ever PCA's (Party Crew Awards) in Hollywood, California, and has toured across the country from L.A. to Boston, to Connecticut, to Atlanta and Miami. Garnishing the attention of writer Khalil Amani, Cat was also one of several LGBT rap artists profiled in his lates book "Hip Hop Homophobes", which also provides an in depth look at the way the gay community is discriminated against in the industry. Prince Cat-Eyez is currently at work, readying the release of his debut solo album "The Cat-Astrophe", which will be out July 7th, 2008. It harbors guest appearances from Tori Fixx, Melange LaVonne, Foxxjazell, Bigg Nugg, and Salvimex just to name a few.
