About Me

Manco and Colonel Mortimor are the two most deadly bounty hunters around, always collecting their due after their hunts end in blood. When the bandit El Indio is broken from prison by his gang of outlaws, both hunters will follow his trail to the bank of El Paso, which Indio plans to rob. During their investigations, Manco and Mortimor discover each other and each attempt to force the other away so as to collect the reward money solely. But when plans get out of hand and the odds become too great, the two hunters must work together to avoid the dangers of opposition. Their rickety partnership and Indio’s gang will lead to many conflicts, gunfire and blood.

“Per qualche dollaro in piu/For a Few Dollars More” is the second film in a loose trilogy of spaghetti Westerns, released in Italy in 1965 and in America in 1967. Once again directed by Sergio Leone, the film not only starred Clint Eastwood this time but also Lee Van Cleef, a popular actor of American and Italian Westerns. The film also stars Gian Maria Volonte again as the main villain, this time with an even bigger gang, including actors Mario Brega (who appears in all three films), and Klaus Kinski.
Other films of the trilogy often called “The Dollars Trilogy” or “The Man With No Name Trilogy” are “Fistful of Dollars” and “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.” All films were directed by Sergio Leone, feature music scores from Ennio Morricone, and star Clint Eastwood. All are known for their atmospheric cinematography, captivating music, unforgettable characters and unrelenting violence.
