| Somewhere a Civil War soldier named Jackson hides under alias Bill Carson after involvement in a scheme of stolen Confederate gold and is now the only one who knows its location. Somewhere a gunman called Angel Eyes is being paid to track the soldier and gather information, until deciding to kill his employer and continue his search alone. Somewhere a wanted bandit called Tuco Ramirez and a bounty hunter called Blondie are scamming towns as Blondie turns Tuco in, collects the money, and rescues Tuco only to collect an even higher reward. As Angel Eyes continues his search for the soldier and gold, the partnership of Blondie and Tuco is broken and as one is about to face death by another, a runaway carriage comes filled with dead and dying soldiers, one of whom claims to be Bill Carson. As he dies, each are told half of his secret, forcing them to work together again. But Angel Eyes is still out there searching, and will discover them. Through prison camps, battle grounds, ghost towns, cemeteries and more, the three will meet, work together, fight and all fall in a mix of intense and violent events as they search for the gold. “Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo/The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” is the third film in a loose trilogy of spaghetti Westerns, released in Italy in 1966 and in America in 1967. It is Sergio Leone’s third film and Western, and again stars Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef, this time joined by Eli Wallach. This film is probably the most popular and is often considered to be the most epic of previous Leone films. Other films of the trilogy often called “The Dollars Trilogy” or “The Man With No Name Trilogy” are “Fistful of Dollars” and “For a Few Dollars More.” All films were directed by Sergio Leone, feature music scores from Ennio Morricone, and star Clint Eastwood. All are known for their atmospheric cinematography, captivating music, unforgettable characters and unrelenting violence. ..
