| A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.....before the Empire, before the dark times, before every household in America had an internet connection going to it, lived a band called Pozer. A mix of friends who ultimately merged together from various situations to form the band Pozer. An ad for a new singer in a local musician paper solidified the lineup which would be widely known by most. Mid 1989-1990 brought about the line up of Paul Ratti, J.C. Kid, Jet Rich and Gary Glitz. Pozer was supercharged and ready to stomp on the stages of the local scene at any club that would have them. Buzz about the band spread by word of mouth from the shows they played and by the bands endless promotion through band flyers and socializing at any establishment they were at. Remember....these were the days "before" household internet, MySpace's and other social networking sites existed. The name Pozer itself brought about attention of it's own. Those less informed figured with such a name they should expect pop rock at a three chord level. What those found who attended a Pozer show was that not only was Pozer heavier than what the name would imply....they also knew how to play their instruments....well! Pozer had it's share of local success and is still a treasured memory to those who were around to witness their shows and the great musical era of the 80's-90's. As with anything...musical climates change, creative and musical differences may arise but the good times and memories of days and an era gone by remain. This page has been made to honor those good times and the friends and fans that supported the band. Thank you all! | |
