| I was born to Captian Frederick Pabst in 1864 in Milwaukee, WI. I used to have Silk Ribbons hand placed on each of my cork topped bottles from the years of 1882 to 1916. In 1906 I was one of the first beer to be canned with opening instructions printed on my side. I was olive drab for the years of WW2 and was only sold to the war due to tin rationing. Today I am considered as many Americans #1 beer, I guess the blue ribbon holds true. | |
