| My band, "The Butcher Covers" (we do cover songs but we 'butcher' them), my other band, "The Osterizers" (Stooges Tribute), my OTHER band, "Fried 'Nanner Sammitch" (Elvis Tribute) I'm a kickass singer because my voice travels at the speed of sound!! I'm a way better sound engineer than I am a singer...I've done front of house / monitors ETC. for some of the bands in my "top friends" and was stage manager for half a dozen or so venues that hosted national acts, and road manager for a few bands. I just can't get enough ROCK (music) that doesn't suck, NHRA / IHRA drag racing, Ed Roth inspired art, hot rods, car shows, bike shows, LIVE rock shows, I can't even begin to count how many shows I've seen / worked / played. MUSIC is my lifelong passion. I can't stand liars, and I don't like stuff that sucks. | |

Music:Iggy, The Stooges, The MC5, Amboy Dukes, Monster Magnet, Corrosion of Conformity, Govt. Mule, GWAR, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Brownsville Station, Hendrix, Cactus, heavy blues, surf, garage, funk, punk, anything else that rocks and doesn't suck. A friend recently used the term "psychedelic bar band" he was referring to The Ribeye Brothers and I instantly thought of Raging Slab and TAD and Cub Koda and the Points and 9 Pound Hammer but I guess that's the kind of stuff I like the best! NOTE: whining EMO assholes, lip-synching born-again hootchie mamas, James Blunt-sounding wussies = SUCK. And note to the record industry, running that whining and twanging through a harmonizer DOESN'T make pop music "country." Thanks for letting me vent. P.S. Whether it's a Teisco Del Rey or Mosrite or Gretsch Country Gentleman or Jag or Trini or Tele or Strat or SG Junior or Melody Maker or double-reverse Firebird or V or Byrdland or Robin Tele with the "B" twanger or Jackson or Dimebag Dean, It's GOTTA have LEAD guitar!! Extra bonus points if the guitar has a "whang bar." ;D |
