| I learned to play drums at the age of twelve practicing alot with records. This was a big part of my practice routine at that time and with this way to practice I learned how to be confident with a good time feel keeping a good timing and as I started to play with other musicians later anybody in the band could feel very well where the time of the music was and the music we were playing was really happening, today the same thing happens every time I play with a band. Then I wanted to learn how to understand and read note values, and the way I did it was going through music books made for selfstudy, and after a while I finally could be able to read everything written down. After I graduate from Highschool I felt that playing and practicing on the drumset was like a big passion for me and since I noticed that I decided to dedicate my whole life to this instrument and to the music. Once I learned how to read music notes I liked to practice and still do with drum books written by many great drummers in the world, though I remember that there were many frustating times because was hard to keep flowing all that difficult figures and rhythms I was practicing but at the same time I knew that this situation was going to help me develop, beside I also learned for about four years by two different drums teachers very professional teachers. For the last twenty-four years I have achieved alot of music experiences playing with many bands, playing different styles of music, I have always been serious about music and about progressing.Equipment by Thorsten Scherer
