The aftertaste. project came to life in October 1996 in Brussels through Thomas Jouanjean (guitar). Inspired by bands such as Will Haven, Helmet, Mudvayne, Hell is for Heroes, Taproot, Deftones, as well as the alternative music scene (Placebo, Massive Attack, etc.), the band's music has evolved throughout the years and changes in the line-up to reach a solid base in 2006. Uniting Tom (guitare), Nico (batterie), Franck (basse) and Chris (chant), aftertaste. delivers a dark and melodic mixture between heavy rhythms and riffage, and melancolic atmospheres. The band is currently crafting its self-produced debut album to be release in 2008. Le projet aftertaste. est créé en octobre 1996 à Bruxelles par Thomas Jouanjean (guitare). Inspirées par des groupes comme Will Haven, Helmet, Mudvayne, Hell is for Heroes, Taproot, Deftones, ainsi que par la vague alternative (Placebo, Massive Attack, etc.), les compositions d'aftertaste. ont évolué au fil des années et des changements de line-up pour atteindre une base solide en 2006. Regroupant Tom (guitare), Nico (batterie), Franck (basse) et Chris (chant), aftertaste. délivre une musique aux ambiances sombres et mélodiques, des rythmiques pesantes et mélancoliques.
