Their ability to mix the East Coast and West Coast sounds together has blessed them with their own tap into the music field of Hip-Hop, Pop, R&B and Soul.In search of new talent, Debra Moton of Eternity Entertainment Group held an audition at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. Although the girls had only been together as a group for a week, Debra saw something special in the trio. Debra called her friend and business partner Trissa Rene to have her view the audition tape. With years of experience between them, Debra and Trissa knew these young ladies were definitely stars on the rise.Honey Bun (Diamond Bar, CA) delivers sassy, sultry vocals; Show Out (West Covina, CA) brings the funk vibe and 2-Tu (Los Angeles, CA) adds a sweet jazzy flavor. The ladies of NICKNAME possess their own sound and identity. "We are innovators and trend-setters," says Honey Bun, 2-Tu adds, "We love the fact that we are original". "We really vibe off of each other and come up with all types of ideas" explains Show Out.
