Berlin Manners is a documentary film about the burlesque scene and the revival of the wild and free 20s in Berlin.
Burlesque is a form of entertainment that got popular in America in the first half of the twentieth century and later died with the advent of television and mass communication.
Nowadays and as it happened in the Berlin of the 20s, hundreds of artists and intellectuals arrive to Berlin searching for a free place to live, work and party. A part of those immigrants are the burlesque artists, the american version of the european cabaret. Those artists claim that home-made form of entertainment opposite to the contemporary stereotypes of beauty, success and fun.Ideas, producers, publishers, performers, collaborators... WELCOME!
