| Presenting female solo artist Lenh
She’s ready for the UK music scene but the question is: are they ready for her? Half Chinese and half Vietnamese, Lenh was born in London which is where she began her music career. While she was growing up there was no shortage of Pop, R&B and Hip Hop music in the household she was brought up in: “I visited Vietnam for the first time last year. I met family I’d never met before and realised how lucky I am to live in the UK where there's so much more opportunity. When I came back home it really made me put everything I have into pursuing my goal of becoming a force in the music industry. That moment was very important to me.” Music was her passion from a very early age and says she is inspired by the successful artists of our time including Estelle, Gwen Stefani and Fergie. Lenh has been likened to Lily Allen, Missy Elliot and Kate Nash. Never one to be a wallflower, 11 year old Lenh always showed her eagerness by performing in school musical productions. She constantly received positive feedback which fuelled her passion to keep on moving to the next level. After her studies she continued dance and vocal training, and following a singing career. Lenh's music speaks for itself as her voice captivates with a raw, uninhibited power. It's no wonder that Lenh is one of the most anticipated artists this year. She's a force to be reckoned with being a multi-threat singer, dancer and actor who is involved at every step: “I have co-written some of my songs and I think that's important as an artist because it allows you to include your own experiences and artistic ideas.” Her music is free and fun and does not hesitate to be challenged. Lenh is not one to hold back and this comes through with her music. Lenh has already made quite an impression with her sassy debut single 'Sexy Boy.' Lenh has recently worked with BRIT Award winner Ben Adams and is currently working with Chris 'Rockizm' Patrick on her debut album which include her debut single ’Sexy Boy’ and other tracks like ’Hey Hey’, ’Come Get Some’ and ’All Dressed Up’. With songs as hot as her looks, Lenh is poised to be a sure-fire hit this year.
