| Os Barafunda Total sao de Lisboa, Portugal, e datam o seu inicio em Setembro de 2002. O núcleo da banda assentou com o Narso na voz, o David na guitarra e o Kaiapo na outra, a Ryta no baixo e o Bruno na bateria, sofrendo algumas alterações ate a formacao actual que conta com o Narso na voz, David na guitarra e o Andre na outra, Ryta no baixo e Kaiapo na bateria. Sob influencias do Punk/Hardcore/Rock que por ca se faz (e muito do brasileiro) e também de alguns géneros estrangeiros começámos a percorrer o caminho que nos levaria ao primeiro registo.Numa altura em que muitas vezes importa mais a imagem do que o conteúdo, nos tentamos construir uma própria personalidade a nível musical. A nossa filosofia passa por transmitir uma mensagem pessoal, que muitas vezes e o resultado de uma catarse. Também cultivamos valores que de certo modo se foram diluindo na sociedade e tentamos fazer uma critica construtiva face a auto-destruição assistida e anunciada do ser humano. Sempre com boa disposição, ENERGIA será a palavra que melhor nos definirá.Gravamos a primeira maquete intitulada "Bem-Vindos a Realidade" em Fevereiro de 2004 que inclui 6 temas originais gravados nos estúdios Margem Sul. Temos vindo a tocar ao vivo ao longo destes anos, por todo o nosso Portugal e partilhamos palcos com bandas tais como 31, Peste & Sida ou Mata-Ratos. No ano corrente foi lançada uma colectânea dupla intitulada "Ataque Frontal" pela mão da editora Impulso Atlântico, com cerca de 50 bandas nacionais.
