NubianGraphics.com I’m an Independent Drummer living in Las Vegas.My very first drum instructor and mentor was Tyrone McCullen (Drummer for Curtis Mayfield and The Impressions). It was truly an honor for me to sit on the drum throne and perform with the very same artist that my mentor performed with, Fred Cash, Sam Gooden, Jerry Butler, Ralph “Smokey” Johnson, and Willie Kitchens (The Impressions).I’ve been touring and working in the studio since the age of 15.My first pro band was called ICE Band; we were the opening act for headliners Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes, GQ, The New Birth, The Manhattans, Anita Baker (Chapter 8 Woody George O), and many more. I toured with The Impressions for 5 years as the main drummer and still on the books to this day, as a standby drummer.Shared The Stage with The Gap Band, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Lakeside, Muddy Souls, George Duke, Skin Deep Band, Najee, Wilson Meadows, Love Peace and Happiness, RC and Company, The Manhattans, Kool and the Gang, The Male Men, Atlantic Star, The FBI Band Funk Metal, Willie and Barbara Kitchens, Eddie Floyd, The Delfonics, Mileleroots, “The Unit” Anthony Benford, David Woods, Flynn Pickens, The Brothers Johnson, The Bar-Kays, GQ, Debi D, The New Birth, Bass Man Sam Sims, The Ice Man Jerry Butler, The Whispers, Burning Spear, Third World, Tim “Romeo” Johnson, Rare Earth, The Magic Show Band, Earth, Wind and Fire (The Phenix Horns) , David Anthony, Constance Brown, Tower Of Power Horns, Stand Elder, Gretrell Watkins, Jeff Seay, JB Horns Fred Wesley, Maceo Parker, Felicia & Brenda Millsaps, Dr. Vibe, Kelle Jolly, and Roni’s Nu Revue to name a few.
