My name is Sonia.My artist name, "Redd"Sonia, actually started when my husband and I started online gaming some three and a half years ago. I liked the name so much and the name,"Redd" suited me.I was comfortable with this new name and felt that I found a type of personal identity in it. I have always loved music.I always jokingly say that I was born with a microphone in my hand!I love music that much. I have always found identity and music as a way of expressing my inmost being,making myself vulnerable in a sense.I have decided, however, that I will no longer remain vulnerable to the vultures and deceitful ones to steal my identity,nor try to alter it in any way. I am me. You can choose to accept me for me or not.That is up to you. I am Not perfect. I love people. I love God. I believe in the Holy Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Music:Member Since: 12/18/2007Band Website: THIS IS IT!FOR NOW ANYWAY..... Band Members: Okay, so here is how this goes, basically...I try not to stick to formulas too much... ALL LYRICS&ALL VOCALS and SPOKEN VOX on this page-ME-"Redd"Sonia. That includes background vocals as well. All of my projects are included below with the clickable links to each one with the myspace page names on the bottom of the banners.Any questions about my projects, I will do my best to answer them. I do not have Completed tracks yet for the banners beneath where it says! These are current collaborations that I am working on right now. The music tracks are sent to me.I then proceed to ask what they were thinking as they were writing these songs.Did they have any scripture base to them? Did they involve some type of emotion while being composed. I then pray.I ask for guidance and then after many times of listening to the track, I get words and the feeling for the song.It is as if I have made it a part of me, because I have allowed it to penetrate my spirit.So each song that you hear has two different artists' interpretations' of the songs.The composer's and mine. I feel this makes for a very unique opportunity for myself. A unique listening experience for you, as well. All except for one artist is from Macedonia.(Here is a map for those of you who are asking "WHERE"in the wolrd is Macedonia?... I consider it a great priviledge to be working with each of these gentlemen.They have been so kind, honest and REAL.This is what I am about.Being real. "Sonshine" A Mother's Day Tribute .. Influences: I have many influences musically.Very diversified for certain.If you look at my friend's list, that will give you a general idea of what type of music I like. The most important thing to me is a positive message.I don't like a lot of nonsensical unnecessary language.I call that "filler"words.If any of you took any type of Speech classes you know what I mean.;] I have been singing pretty much since I started to speak as a small child.I just naturally had a love for it.I was most content as long as I had "my"music to listen to.It was my therapy.My Inspiration.My escaping to the side of God so to speak.I always feel close to Him, when the music is edifying to my Spirit. EVERYTHING IN LIFE IS AN INFLUENCE... Sounds Like: Something you would want to listen to. A clear path to the Brain. Sorrow. Joyous occasion to BELIEVE IN someone bigger than self. GOD. YESHUA. THE HOLY SPIRIT. THE WORD OF GOD. Thoughts drowned out by a dismal world. TRUTH. Life's Trials and Tribulations. Sympathetic Tones of Endearment. Worthiness with a cause. PEACE.
