I am actively involved in the Southern California blues community and am now hittin' the streets of Memphis.I am a booking and event coordinator who produces/coordinates festivals, shows and fundraising events at various venues throughout California. I also enjoy reading and creative writing in my personal time and recently began publishing a modest quarterly blues newsletter for the SCBS membership./div | |

Music:I love and listen to the Blues most of the time..naturally. Female vocalists are my favorites. Anyone and everyone from Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday, Big Maybelle, Big Mama Thorton, Chicago's Finest Blues Women, Koko Taylor, and Etta James, right up to the new and up coming like little Jessie Payo and my good friend Sherry Pruitt...to name afew...there are just so many great female vocalists that I love and hold dear to my heart...I hope you all know who you are!! I have an appreciation for all kinds of music but especially like music that is truly blues rooted...my music collection literally consists of thousands of lps and cds of various types of music from blues, big band, jazz, motown, old school, funk, and reggae...by the way does anyone own a turntable?PROPS TO THE LADIES OF THE BLUES

Television:I don't watch much television for the most part but lately I have found myself attached to some stuff that I've been watching regularly...Prison Break (rocks!), Dog the Bounty Hunter (lol!), Court TV, CSI,HGTV and...UFC...can you imagine that !! |
