TYOV is a Rock band consisting of Jon Hampton, Josh Justice, and Justin Stapleton, officially formed March 29th, 2008. The story of TYOV first began in 2002, when Jon Hampton transferred to a different school, and met the sister of Josh Justice. Josh thought "Jon was totally awesome". The next year, Jon would transfer back to his old school. Later on, Jon rekindled his contact with Josh's sister, and from there, grew more of a friendship with Josh. Josh's goal was to start a Punk Rock band, as Jon was playing with various bands, and dreaming of being a musician. Jon was the only real musician Josh knew, and it went from there. The two would eventually go on a long journey of hanging out, talking about the music, jamming here and there, writing random things, etc. After a long period of time, it was still just Josh and Jon on their own, with no other members, and no official band name. Forward 5 years. Josh and Jon had gotten more serious at this point, as they'd grown up, and met more musicians, and broadened their musical interests. Alothought both of them love various types of music, they found their common bond of their own variety of punk rock. On March 29th, they would join together with Justin Stapleton, whom Jon met in 2003, and had played in a couple different side project bands before. Jon would combine basically combine his ongoing project with Josh with his ongoing project with Justin, to create the birth of what is now known as TYOV. As for the name TYOV, Jon Hampton and Justin Stapleton had used that same name for a comedy music project which recorded 4 songs, but only lasted a total of 2 days, as they decided to go a more serious route, due to the third member of the band. For the meaning of "TYOV", is a simple acronym in which the members all find a common ground, but its meaning will not be revealed. There are different speculations on what it means, but that will be left to the imagination of the fans. And so after a long journey, the true journey and adventures have now begun. The future is bright, and TYOV will burn any conflict standing in its way with that light. The future is now. The Revolution Has Begun.
