| DOMINIUM was formed in 1995 and it was previously called UNKNOWN DIMENSIONS. In 1999 DOMINIUM, with session musicians, played on the Metalmania Festival (Hall Baildon in Warsaw). The Dominium gig was highly rated in the eyes of critics and journalists. In October 2003 there was the premiere of the fourth album of Dominium called Mohocks Club. That piece of work evidently strengthened the position of the band on the music market. Recording was done at the Hertz Studio, the place well-known for its brilliant productions (e.g. Decapitated, Hate, Crionics, Trauma). In opinion of critics and fans, Mohocks Club states opus magnum of Dominium. The Record was placed on the top of many music chart lists, and received the title album of the year. The unique qualities of the record was also emphasized on the worldwide scale (Thrash'em All Magazine).The album is like a mysterious and mystical journey by roller coaster into the mind of a mad man. It is a challenge for an intelligent and demanding listener. Old school metal elements can be found there as well as jazz, gothic, psychedelic or even industrial. All the elements are compiled into one excellent production. Undoubtedly, Dominium surprised the audience again with original solutions and instrumentation composed of a trumpet and a saxophone.
In April 2003, Dominium appeared at the biggest Middle-East European metal festival called Metalmania in Katowice. One of the Mohocks Club tracks "The Howling" was included on the compilation record of that event. Moreover, another track "No More Questions" was inserted in the October Issue of Metal Hammer where high quality standards defining the new production of Dominium were also highlighted.In January 2004, the radio programme Metal Hammer Show announced the results of the competition for the best record of the year (Polish and foreign). Mohocks Club won the first prize. The Mohocks Club material consequently appeared in the Century Media, Season of Mist and Sony distribution catalogues. Foreign critics classified Dominium as one of the most original Polish bands following their own unexpected way.Dominium has played numerous concerts in Poland and abroad.
