With 69 years between us, the long and hopefully short tale is that a pair of like-minded people with a similar background of devoted raving & record buying met.Raised on our parents tunes, wished we could go out with our siblings listening intently to the jazz-funk, soul -weekender and rares on Solar Radio and LWR... Were blown away by the unearthed talents of the jazz-dancers...Proud of the rhythmn and poetry of early hip hop...Were laughed at by the soul crowds when we rated Renegade Soundwave, LFO and Nightmares On Wax.. Were dissapointed when garage sped up their BPM and lost its soulfulness...Were surprised to see our old soul mates championing House and telling us about it(15 years later)..Enjoyed the fun-r&b re-works of the early 90's...Apalled at what it became....Smug that we got Prince the first time around....Constantly amazed at peoples fear of jazz...inspired by the universal collective of artists and producers that still committ to making music of truth.....
