He began private theory, orchestration and piano lessons at the age of 14. Attending West Seattle High School, he became heavily involved in any venue that revolved around music: composition class, choir, band, and advanced music theory courses. In the fall of 1999, he moved to Tenino, about twenty minuets from Olympia WA, where he enrolled at Tenino High School. There, He was able to continue pursuing his musical aspirations and formed a band with Aaron Orr, drums and "Tex" Jacobs, bass and guitar. Finding lack of desire and lust for life, Stephen moved to Las Vegas in the winter of 2002 where for two years his musical creativity was dormant. Then, he bought a mac and music software and he began diving into the realm of electronic music. Stephen has been slowly but steadily finding his spot, always trying to perfect his style and technique. His up-coming album "Set-Future" is a reflection of the last two and a half years of musical and personal development. |
