| Essay A.K.A "Mam Bai Trained soldier" is a artist born and raised in The Gambia, but hes been living and travelling around the world and is now currently living in Stockholm, Sweden. Started with music at n early age. For the past ten years hes been strugglin up n down, working with different music/producers in Sweden and all across the world. Mid 2001 he worked whith a hiphop legend producer, SKEE (Dele), where music was a school still! After that Essay has been chilling with music, focusing on other buiseness. Late 2006 when he linked back whith old music/friends NORDICSTEEL, in Rotebro, where for the last 9 years hes been bumping shoulders with Artists like MILLION STYLEZ, CONDORLOCO, JAHKNIGHT,RICHIERIOTT and producers like JATRIX,SPITFIYAH and IMANRUSS. Now at 32, Essay is well ready whith hes first official album "Right over Wrong" which he realese on hes own label BRIGHT LIGHT RECORDS- Me, im all for Gambia! I feel its our time! The world is about 2 know about us and taste the new, fresh taste of blessings from the smiling coast! Gambia is a small country in westafrica that breed heroes and worriors, kings and queens! Prince and princesses! Mambai loved the nation! Me, in this time i got my mind made up! And i know Gambia is packed with promise makers and well talented militant youth!
