In 1996, I began to buy tape packs. A school friend got me into mixing when I was roughly 16 or 17, and it took me a while to teach myself how to mix… You need to have a good ear for music, but most of all, you need to concentrate! Mixing is something that I love doing; I do it from my heart and also as a hobby, even if I don’t get paid for it. I would like 2 see more female djs in the world. I will respect anyone who respects me , treat people the way you exspect 2 be treated urself thats my rule anyway. I started raving at the age of 19; the first big rave I went to was ‘Innovation’ at Bagley’s Warehouse in King’s Cross, London. I have met a few famous people in the DnB scene and have done sets with some of them. I also DJ some old school garage and Todd Edward’s music. In my opinion, Todd Edwards is the best House/ Garage producer around; the music is mellow and relaxing in comparison with DnB, but I have always preferred DnB to Garage… and I always will. I do like other music such as reggae/ragga and hip hop. I respect anyone who loves any music. The raves ive been 2 over the years are , one nations , telepathy , world dance , innovations. |
