About Me


I was born on March 21, 1968. I have been living in South Tyrol since my birth, a province in the north of Italy near Austria. Bolzano is the provincial capital and their buildings are in baroque style with a typical tyrolean flare. I love this town in the winter during Advent where there is the Christmas Market with all the lights that illuminate the town. South Tyrol is famous for its natural beauty, for skiing or climbing mountains. But one of my favorite sports is running, that’s why the video of the Marathon runner Stefano Baldini. I have just read his book “Quelli che corrono” and for this year 2008, I want to reach some goals. I hope to keep to them!! I also like to cycling, body building and especially scuba-diving. I have the underwater licence and I can’t describe the emotion I feel when I’m in water watching the nature and the beautiful fish. Till now I have only been to the Red Sea in Egypt (wonderful country!) but in the future I want to go diving in Maldives and Australia. I also love race cars and sooner or later I will drive a race-track! I’m also interested in cinema and music. For both categories, I love all kinds of genres, however complex or simple. I can start listening to Madonna and finishing with Debussy :-) The same with movies, I prefer thrillers, but I also like action-comedy-historical movies and special effects. I love the theatre too and especially funny comedies. My favorite shop is the music-dvd and book-stores, I can stay hours and hours listening to cd’s and reading the inside covers of the books. Art and photography have always been very important to me. I love going to art exhibitions. My top painters are Modigliani, Dali', De Chirico, Picasso, Van Gogh, Botticelli and Andy Warhol. The Museums I prefere are The National Gallery of London, The Dalì Museum of Figueres, Le Louvre of Paris, Uffizi Gallery of Florence and the MoMa of New York. Photography had always been part of my life. In the past I had the desire to become a fashion stylist, I had the opportunity to take part in a competitive examination to get a scholarship. I arrived in the first ten of 400 people with an oral examination in Milan and I was floating on clouds! Unfortunately I didn’t win the competition, so I felt back on a job in public administration. It’s surely a good position and well paid but it’s not as intriguing and stimulating as fashion would have been. So I think that in your life when you have a great passion, you have to accomplish it and to go for it! The best thing is to establish a goal in advance and go after all the ways to reach it. You never have to stop dreaming, often dreams become reality! I think peace, love, health and a little chocolate :-) are the secrets for a happy life!!..
