| Though not born Joe Netherworld I inherited the title after years of being refereed to as "Joe the guy who owns Netherworld, It became shortened to "Joe Netherworld" and so it remains. It does sum up my whole life and aesthetic. My entire life has been immersed in various Dark diversions that evolved into my current incarnation and business. I have been involved in every dark corner of commerce and art from my comic book days writing "Lovely Prudence" to producing model kits of Marilyn Manson and Edward ScissorHands. I have been called weird by John Waters and Dangerous by Willaim S. Burroughs that should clue you in. I make total environments that encompass my twisted aesthetic. Somewhere between Gothic fairy tale and Satan's Boudoir . Inspired by all things Dark and mysterious my perfect world is part Haunted Palace and part Dark Forest with a heaping spoonful of decaying Victoriana. Chinese Whorehouse and Transylvanian Chic.
