| Andrea was born April 27th 1986 in Chiaravalle (Ancona) ITALY. Actually he is attending the famous Berklee College of Music in Boston since he won a scholarship at Berklee’s Umbria Jazz clinics in 2007. Before living for the Unite Sates he studied with very great italian teachers like Alberto Severini, Alessandro Carlini, Andrea Morandi, Massimo Manzi, Marco Pacassoni and Marco Volpe. Marco Volpe and Marco Pacassoni were and are the most important teacher of Andrea’s growth as a musician. Right now Andrea is studying with a lot of famous drummers and musicians like Kim Plainfield, John Hazilla, Jaquin Santos, John Funkhouse, Tony “Thunder” Smith, Dave “Fuze” Fiuczynski, Skip Hadden, Jetro Da Silva, Ken Zambello, Victor Mendoza just to mention few. Beside Berklee he is studying with Gary Chaffee, one of the greatest teacher in the world. He is gigging with the artists Casey Desmond (amazing singer song-writer with 3 Album out and who recorded with Tony Levin and Mike LeVesque), the young country-pop talent Jordan Rudd produced by Gary Baker (Lonestar, Backstreet Boys and others), NAREE, Park Street Wedding Band and with the rock band The Audacity. He is the leader of the Pop All-Star Band that is gonna be on tour in Europe this summer featuring 3 singers, Shea Rose, Jordan Rudd and Charlie Rockwell.He is recording also with various artists of the Boston area, working as percussionist with some of the greatest international DJs at UnderBar disco club in downtown and play every sunday morning at St. Luke African Methodist Episcopal Church in Dorchester.I made this myspace background at BackgroundStation.com | |
