About Me
Ambiguous, born in St.Albert Alberta Canada,did all of his hip-hop training and was raised on the east coast in Nova Scotia Canada (since the age of 4) but is currently living and finishing his debut professional album in Edmonton. By the age of six, he was already rapping and break dancing, having learned how from watching Turbo and Ozone break dancing videos that his mother would rent for him from the local video store. This is when the hip hop culture became his own. At that time he had no idea that this particular interest would someday turn into a dream and a reality. However first he had to face poverty, family struggles and difficulties, which is what alot of his debut album is about. Through his teenage years, Ambiguous grew up living what some might call the street life. He was arrested numerous times and was failing in school when he decided to drop out at the age of 16 to work and support himself, however, he always stayed involved with his rap music, performing at parties and small venues. Through his teen years he watched his friends go to jail and family fall apart due to this dysfunctional life style. It was when Ambiguous saw what the street life was doing to his family and friends and began to understand it that he decided to hit the streets in a different way. Much of his music is about his life and his opinion on social and issues surrounding hip hop, as well as his strong opinion on the negitive influences in and on hip-hop music today. Through his music he delivers a positive message about dreams, perserverance and not giving up. He promotes self-expression through music and dance. Ambiguous music does target youth, however, his music has been enjoyed by people of all ages. To date (Ambiguous did finish school) Ambiguous would like to launch his own independant music Label possibly this year. He's both promoted and rapped at shows with rappers such as Lefty 2 mics, Xplizit Entertainment, Joe Buck, Trusouljas, J-Last,Kastic, Howt-Iz as well as Canadian Idol Finalist Kalob Simmonds, ecma nominee J-Bru and Juno nominee, ecma winner and much music video award winner Classified. Ambiguous is getting set to release his debut album this year with special guests such as Politic Live,Kastic,Provelli Paragon,3 time juno winner Moka Only and more!! A great mix of natioanlly and internationally known Canadian talant! He has appeared as a cover story on Eastlink television and has been interviewed on Magic 94.9, as well as numerous newspapers and media coverage.Check out his new low budget music video Morning Destiny and vote fo it on the Canadian t.v show CBC Exposure..www.exposure.cbc.ca/video/morning-destiny ...
