About Me
"An effortless mix of huge pop choruses, blistering riffage and tons of energy" describes what Smudge is all about. Forming back in 2004 they have toured up and down the UK and most recently appeared at the Taste of Chaos Tour 2007 at Manchester Apollo. Smudge have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with, The Used (Reprise Records), Rise Against (Geffen Records), Aiden (Victory Records), Zebrahead (Sony Records), The Gallows (Epitaph Records), The Secret Handshake, (Triple Crown Records), The Blackout (Fierce Panda Records), Self Against City (Drive Thru Records), Useless ID (Kungfu Records), The Start (Metropolis Records) The Fight (Repossession Records), Failsafe (Deckcheese Records), Flood Of Red (Small Town Records), Brigade (Mighty Atom Records) plus You Me At Six, Tonight Is Goodbye, Furthest Drive Home Army of Freshmen and more!. We should be playing a town near you soon, but if we're not please get intouch with us.. we should be! Smudge certainly sound like the finished article on this three-track EP. If the band can take these songs on the road for a sustained period of time I'm sure they'd race up the pop-punk ladder in no time.
