About Me |

| I began writing under the name NonEntity in 1997, and creating music as NonEntity in 1999 while away at Radford University. In the beginning, the music was instrumental electronica, comparable to, but in no way equal to, artists such as Juno Reactor or Underworld. Throughout the next several years the music slowly became darker and more industrial, as I experimented with sounds that were more noise than music... trying to make standard musical instruments into noise, and then play that noise back as musical instruments. I still don't think I'm "there" yet, but I'm on my way... I don't consider myself a musician, I'm a writer that dabbles in music. I have ideas that I NEED to release, and some of those ideas just happen to be musical in nature. Always a fan of concept albums, be it Pink Floyd's The Wall or Marilyn Manson's "Unholy Trilogy" (AntiChrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals, and Holywood), so it follows that most of my work is themed or tells a story of some kind. I can half-ass play several instruments, but the majority of my work is samples, bent and spliced to my accordance (or disscordance, rather). I have many plans for the future, and one of them is to integrate as many 'live' instruments as possible in the recording process.
