About Me |

| My name is J. Hall and I love music. Music is something that I've wanted to do since I was a little boy and I hope that you all like what you hear. Growing up, all my mom would play in the car were Elton John and Luther Vandross records, so I always tell her it's really all her fault that I'm pursued singing. In all seriousness, she told me early on that I should never let the odds keep me from doing what I know in my heart I'm meant to do. It's something I took to heart, and that's why I'm still singing today. I remember the first CD I ever purchased was Babyface "The Day" and that was the day that I truly fell in love with soul music. I made my mom drive me to the music store and buy me a composition notebook so I could write my first song. I remember it was called "Tuesday" and it was time I got hooked on the feeling of creating music. I've written songs almost everyday since then. I'm just a young man with an amazing family who grew up loving soul music and with a dream of singing my own.
