Always bin likin to drift off makin sounds wen i get stressed or feel peeeeeed offf or am to excited to concentrate on anything else I likes to do.Started out playin and recordin on tapes mit meine bruter and we did compose an interestin tune or too (dont have any tapes left im afraid). Over the years since movin on I still plays and plays - never really understandin or learnin how to play cords, but not bein too botheres. I rather like the industrial soiund of my cheap acoustic and am happy to be just pluckin away...................................Now theres this thing called xmas right, and lo and behold, I gets one of them mp3 players with a recording mic imbuilt............and the rest his history - now ders a myspace.Why I called Three Strings you ask? - well it signifies two things - Firstly Im only playin with a base string and two treble as the others ave all snapped. I avnt changed em cause I was likin the sounds i began to make without those others gettin in the way. Secondly, its kind of a pun - Im a string or two short in the musical ability stakes if you catch my drift. Love music of all kinds to bits (infact obsessively so), but I never bin trained, and Ive got the brain of a randy goat, and I knows people who will always be amazin at wat they does wid instrument, and bloody right too - noone should sound skilled unless they really are. there is another reason but I wont say...............................................Now Ive filled you in there is only one last ting to point out as you start twiddlin yer thumbs and yawnin that head off, and that is what Im after with dis stuff. Im after makin somethin sound like it is. If it clap trap. Fine. If it amusin. Great. But if it ultimately beautiful perhaps, and yer thinkin the same thing as ye listen - well, then it was worth me botherin then wernt it!................................................All music original and by me (so dont teef any or i sue u - then i be able to afford to restring my guitar........er...) | |
