We wanted to start up one of the most brutal fucking bands out there. With influences from all areas of the metal spectrum, we are developing into a PORNO-GORE-GRINDING-CYBER-DEATH ASSAULT. THIS A REVIEW FROM ONE OF OUR LIVE PERFORMANCES Mantis Metalfest I August 26th, 2006 @ The Trocadero Theater Philadelphia, PA Twelve bands. Eight hours. One stage. The first band to take the stage, Neuropraxia, this awesome band proved to be a thoroughly (un)pleasant surprise. Gory samples, pig squeals, blastbeats, gurgling gutturals and a crazed frontman wearing an apron of human faces, all laid over a sickening old-school Carcass groove, ensured that these filthy pornogrinders had no need to worry about getting lost in the crowd. This style of ultra-brutal grinding madness is rarely seen around this area; in fact, to my knowledge, Neuropraxia is the only such band in Philly. To my delight, I caught more than a few putrid whiffs of Devourment, Disgorge, and the rest of the Texan death metal horde in Neuropraxia's music.
