Bruno Costa is a music composer and photographer from Oporto/Portugal obsessed with the cinematic view that life can provide. Seeking landscapes through the piano, he found a self therapeutic way of express himself, reaching a minimalist and emotional sound. Like in Photography, he tries to create a "little frame" with different stories from himself and the world around him. O ínicio / The Beginning 27 de Fevereiro de 2008 Uma vez, em conversa, um amigo disse-me que, por muito que eu tentasse, a música iria-me acompanhar sempre para qualquer lado. Após a difícil saída da banda que formei e adorava, senti-me a vaguear no mundo da música. As perguntas inevitáveis surgiam.. Senti assim a necessidade de procurar "auxílio e conforto" em algo que pudesse descrever, absorver, extasiar, o que sentia. Propus então a mim mesmo trabalhar num EP que representasse assim um "Passado e um Futuro", auto-terapêutico e biográfico, capaz de expressar as vivências do passado e a maturidade do futuro inerentes no processo de mudança. Objectivo?! Terminar algo que considero à muito pendente, aprender e partilhar, com a maior sinceridade possível, o que muitas vezes não consigo exprimir por palavras.. Tudo começou assim, a olhar para o tecto, a pensar e a adormecer ao som do piano, enquanto o tema "Changes" era criado.Bruno Costa. |
