Ina Sanfilippo jedoch bringt das Instrument in eine andere Musikwelt. Sie interpretiert weißrussische (und finnische) Walzer und Polken sowie slavische Zigeuner-Romantik. Auch die Spielweise der begabten Sanfilippo ist eine andere als die auf dem Balkan und in Ungarn üblich ist. Sanfilippos Cimbal klingt musikalisch und schön, hell und klar sowohl in schnelleren Passagen wie in langsamen, stimmungsvollen Liedern.Susan Aho (von "Värttinä", Finnland) und der deutsche Bassist Fritz Krisse begleiten mit großer Begabung und passen sich der jeweiligen Stimmung an. In den schnelleren Stücken kreieren die Begleiter einen hervorragenden, lebendigen Swing. Die talentierten Musiker auf dieser CD spielen locker und aus vollem Herzen. Angenehmes Zuhören!
