I have learned so many wonderful lessons in my life, but it seems that my growth has been exponential in the last 2 years.
Born and raised in suburban northern Connecticut, I grew up with many of the conservative, puritanical views about life that New Englanders are famous (or infamous?) for. My, how things change when we grow up, or is it just grow......... When I decided to open my mind to the many views and possibilities out there in the great big world, I was overwhelmed with the knowledge up for grabs.

I would like to dedicate this site to helping people grow their own lives to their fullest potential! The journey is wild and sometimes a bit bumpy, but I can guarantee that if you stay on and stick with it, it will be worth your while!! Climb on!

In September 2006, at age 39, I came to life, started captaining my own vessel, if you will. I started school for massage therapy and opened up a wonderfully exciting and fulfilling chapter in my life that has lead me to step out of my comfort zone and into a brand new way of life. Having graduated in April 2008 and subsequently getting licensed, I am now learning how much I still have to learn!! (and WANT to:-) ) I love what I am able to do for my clients health and wellness, but I also love that my path of self-discovery has lead me to the opportunity of a lifetime. A way to create a lifestyle for myself and my family that I have only dreamed of previously.
My discovery begins with education, not the kind you find in a college, but through movies, books and motivational speakers that beg you to look into your soul and dig out all that is hiding there. And boy, is there a lot down there!! When I really started trying to figure out why I was where I was in life, I found many roadblocks, fears, if you will, that prevented me from ever moving beyond where I was.
While in school, I was turned on to watching the movies The Secretand What The Bleep Do We Know?. From there, I sought out some of the authors and mentors that were featured in them and read their books and joined their websites. I was hungry for more so I started searching in the bookstore and online for other self-help gurus and motivators and was overwhelmed with the information that is available, both for free and for sale. What amazed me the most was how old this information is. People have been teaching these principles for thousands of years and it still is pertinent to my modern-day life.

I am a "work-in-progress" as I plan to never stop learning about myself, life and interacting with other people. Along with practicing massage therapy, I am working toward becoming a successful life coach, someone who can motivate like Tony Robbins, Bill Harris or James Ray. I really admire people who can make a living out of helping someone find out who they really are and how to capitalize on that. How uplifting!!
