Blood Red Angel r eleased their first demo (tape/CD) in 1999 and called their style "Rhein Area Thrash", because the main influences came from the Bay Are a heroes of the 80's and 90's as also from some bands of the Rhein-Ruhr area, where the band is based. After all the years this discription is still actual, BRA combine traditional thrash-roots with different spices and put the result into an up to date sound.

Facts:
1999 - Founding, first gigs, 5-track demo, deal with Gutter Records
2000 - First album "The language of hate", Mini-Tour with Blackend and some more shows
2001 - Second album "The state of insanity", first shows outside of germany, line-up change
2002 - More than 20 concerts in germany, belgium and the netherlands .
2003 - New drummer, deal with Supreme Chaos Records
2004 - Third album "Crime Entertainment" and more live-shows
2005 - new promo CD
2006 - some concerts in germany and netherlands, songwriting for the next CD
2007 - production of abyssland
2008 - January: Release of "abyssland", starting promotion
