| Illegal Dialek is a Muskegon, MI based group consisting of 2 local m.c's. Mikey Glasses & City Boy. Mikey Glasses has been a dominating force in the underground hip-hop circuit for over 15 years. Appearing in groups such as Divided Minds, The Booger Factory, Fortified Committee, & the Butcher Brothers, as well as pursuing a solo career. Mikey is responsible for putting together projects such as The Vault Vol. 1, The Vault Vol. 2, City boys first solo effort Cant Get Right, Fu-Mans Never Give A Fuck as well as contributing major efforts to all projects, groups and artists he has collaborated with. Currently Mikey is involved in the group Illegal Dialek with City Boy. They formed the group over a year and a half ago. City Boy has Been threw many different musical situations as well. City Boy has been absorbed in Hip-Hop for most of his life and began his career well over a decade ago. Threw the time he has released solo records as he went ..ing with Cant Get Right - co-produced and recorded by Mikey Glasses. Followed up by The Calm Before The Storm recorded and mixed by Jason Innersole for Exit Door Productions. City Boy Spent a couple of years with Exit Door Productions before parting ways and joining back up with Mikey Glasses and Tripple Dip to form Divided Minds. Divided Minds released a 10 track album that was absolutely ridiculous. The album was recorded and mixed by Paco for Whyte Noize Productions. In between the old era and new era City Boy released the Welcome 2 My City Mix tape and the Judgment Day album. After deciding to form Illegal Dialek, City Boy & Mikey Glasses released the first album in the winter of 2008 titled The Koncrete Jungle. The album was good, but it wasn't what they were looking for. City boy had just begun recording and mixing and to say the least the effort was pretty much sub-par. Now with a clean slate and City Boy mastered at the recording and mixing aspects, Illegal Dialek is working on their sophmore effeort Illegal Amerika. They are putting more effort and time into this project and continue to be pleased with the outcome. So to shorten up this storyline, beware of these dudes. They are set to make major waves in a shallow pool of rappers who can compete in the same bracket. I advise you to be ready, it wont be long before they are beating down your block.
