Wood took every opportunity he could to display his talents. Musically, H has shared the stage with legendary hip hop artists such as Too $hort, Slum Village, Ghostface Killah, The Sugar Hill Gang, Special Ed, A Tribe Called Quest and others. While performing with A Tribe Called Quest, group member Jarobi came up to H. Wood after his set and said “You are the next generation of Hip Hop”, a compliment H. Wood reminds himself of every time things get rough. H. Wood was also given the opportunity to work with his mentor and friend DJ Spinderella (Salt-N-Pepa) on her nationally syndicated radio show “The Back Spin”. Spinderella has been quoted to say “…I love his flow. H is so fu**ing creative”. Spinderella is a heavily influence to H. Wood & his career. |
