| There are plenty of people with a desire to change the world around us, some of them are good, some of them bad. They do this while the rest of us sit in the back-seat complaining about which direction we’re heading.Elite thinking, patronizing and disrespectful attitudes towards others consumes us in an attempt to feel a bit less secure in ourselves and has become everyday life. We no longer see people we meet on the street as our fellow men; we see them as a representation of something we dislike. We don’t take advantage of diversity, instead we use it as an excuse to hate each other and are addicted to being entertained; so much that we dislike being subjected to our own thoughts because we’re scared that we ultimately won’t like our own conclusions.The time has come to take the steering wheel, to use the anger inside as a fuel to get somewhere positive. And the hatred be aimed towards the ones that deserve it, not the ones that by mistake come in our way.We have become so concerned on planning ahead that our planning gets priority of getting to the actual destination. I myself was loosing perspective and finally wanted to go to so many places that I ended up going nowhere at all.There’s too much focus on owning things but no one tells us what the sacrifice of having all the those things are. When we stop owning them and they instead own us then we’ll understand. Ultimately we’ll be standing on top of our barricades looking down in a vain attempt to protect what we managed to accumulate during that journey without really knowing what we were defending. Me, personally wouldn’t give a shit if what I have is traded as long as it matters and has a meaning.I don’t expect other people to be the same as me, actually I prefer it they aren’t because that forces me to see things from a different perspective than my own. I would love to have changed the world by myself but I know my own limitations, the only way I’ll achieve this is with the help of others, No man is an island.Peace brothers and sisters!
