Thanks Hi! My name is Claudia, and I am doing this page for my best friend Tabitha! I want people to know about her and her disease. Im sure you have a best friend as well, for whom you would do anything for, and can understand my request for help. The more people who see this, the more people who know about this horrible disease. So please help me get the word out about RSD and get Tabitha fixed. Tabitha has had RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy) for almost 11 years, and it started out with a simple knee dislocation. It got worse and worse as time went by and now her entire body is in pain all of the time. She needs to use a wheelchair, and has very painful muscle spasms. Even the smallest movement or lightest touch is unbelievably painful for her. Something as simple as having a blanket on can hurt so much she cries. She has a lot of trouble sleeping from the pain. RSD is ranked as the most painful disorder out of other chronic pain diseases, and Tabitha is in the worst stages of RSD. We have been best friends for about 4 years. We live in different countries but when we do meet, we do everything together, just like other best friends, only we can't really leave the house and do a lot. Usually we sit around and tell each other stories the whole day, which is a lot of fun as well. Her pain makes it impossible to even get out of bed many time. Nevertheless, shes a very nice, cheerful person despite the pain, and one of the strongest people I’ve ever met. Shes even tries to cheer everyone up, which is very impressive to me because it shows her inner strength. Shes is also a dedicated vegan and has a heart of gold when it comes to animals. She has a little zoo at home, and cares for every animal that crosses her path. Her animals give her a lot of hope, and help her feel better! She loves rock music and would love to be able to go to more oncerts. When she is able to go, she feels a lot worse for several days after. All she wants is to be a happy human being without pain again. The only way to make that a possibility is an experimental treatment in Germany. The doctors will put her in a ketamine induced coma for 7-10 days to help reset her nervous system. Health insurace will not pay for any of this and it is very expensice. She needs to raise about $70,000 for the treatment, which is impossible for her family without the help of others. She has already tried every other treatment offered to her, and nothing has helped. If you would love to help Tabitha get a chance at a less painful life, please donate just a small amount. It would help her so much. Just imagine, if 70,000 people would all give just one dollar, she could affort her treatment. Donations are very gladly accepted on this paypal account set up for her to raise money for the treatment she needs. every dollar is much appreciated and thankfully accepted. There are many ways to get RSD, but just watch the video and get educated about the treatment and see how it worked for the girl here. Thats exactly how we wish its going to work for tabitha as well.
