| We are a young, independent and stubborn record label, based in Amsterdam. We strongly believe in the DIY philosophy and that’s the way we like to do our things. We love vinyl. We don’t hate CD’s though, we just think vinyl is cooler and sounds better. We love 45’s. LP’s are nice, no doubt about it, but 45’s are even nicer. We don’t like iPods, we prefer Walkmans. We like it when a record sounds rough, dirty and screwed up. We get bored when it sounds clean, polished and inoffensive. We like things that seem insane. We like crazy people. We like radicals. We like things made with real passion. We don’t like formulas. We hate clichés. We like when bands from Japan sing in Japanese and bands from Turkey sing in Turkish. We love the Sitar, the Theremin, the Tres, the Viola Caipira and all sorts of weird instruments. We love things that are out of fashion. We love the 60’s and the 70’s. We hate the 80’s. We like simplicity. We hate fanciness.
