| ADRIAN (BLACK ROOTS) Lleva más de diez años predicando el mensaje. Al principio de los tiempos en el Comics, un garito subterráneo en el que hizo descubrir a una generación de bilbaínos la negritud. Más tarde en el Bullitt Groove Club, su club, un lugar con una misión musical. Ahora pincha y promueve en FEVER, el club multiespacios más importante del norte de España. Su vista y su espalda se quedaron en la cubeta de discos a dos dólares en algún sótano de Chicago y, en su maleta, a un single de Bill Brandon le sigue un original de Johnny Lyttle o un disco de Soledad Brothers o Jon Spencer. Ha pinchado en Chicago, Madrid, Barcelona, Berlín, Londres... y ha compartido cabina con Keb Darge, Jazzman Gerald, Eddie Piller (Acid Jazz), Oli Stewart (Casbah 73), Jadd (Improvisto), Mark Taylor (Blue Note), Carlo Coupe (Funkorama Records), Jose Castillo (Afrodisia / Madrid). Como en la canción de Gary Bartz, "la música es su santuario..." (Iker Seisdedos de El Pais & Rolling Stone dixit)... SANTO (INDIE POPROCKHITS) Agitador cultural donde los haya, ya organizaba sesiones en los míticos Scuba y Comics con 20 años. Con 25 montó el Bullitt (referencia bilbaína del culto a la música de calidad) y con 29 promueve en FEVER. Su pasión y conocimiento están fuera de toda duda. Este coleccionista de vinilo construye sus sesiones a base de una variada gama de hits de todos los tiempos. Su maleta da para pinchar indie pop y dance rock and hits (Cure, Romantics, Sunshine Underground, Roland Shanks, Datarock, Indigo Colony) en el 8 y medio madrileño; indie rock (Strokes, Bishops, 28 Costumes, Dartz) en la Vía Láctea; o rock negroide (Black Keys, Atom Rhumba, King Kahn, Soledad Brothers, Jack Dupree o Slim Harpo) con Wayne Kramer de los míticos MC5 en el Fever. | |
