| Born Joen, in the year 1983 in the Lower East Side, Manhattan. Ten years later he moved down south to Orlando, Florida where he began to experience different genres of music. From Hip-hop to R&B, Reggae to Alternative, different music presented no boundaries. Music became more than just songs, broken down, it was the beat that captivated his attention. Inflammatory lyrics and coastal battles sparked a prime interest in the Rap industry. At the age of sixteen he discovered his knack for engineering the basis for a song: the BEAT. Flash forward to the present, you can now find Joen constantly working at his craft, struggling to bring back the essence of Hip-Hop. Spending hours pouring over a single beat, not resting until it is perfected, this is his trademark work ethic.
