| ROCKERS KULTURE wants to promote Rock and Roll and Rockabilly through Records Hops, Concerts, Performances, Burlesque Shows, Radio Spots, Records Release, Press Reviews, Books... Rock And Roll really starts in 1954 with Elvis'That's All Right and Bill Haley's Rock Around The Clock. The Music of the Rock And Roll Genius is still alive today : Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Little Richard and so many others great names... Don't forget British Rock And Roll (Golden Age: 1958-1962), the only original European form of Rock And Roll with Johnny Kidd, Vince Taylor, Cliff Richard, Billy Fury, Marty Wilde... And a special mention to the many bands who had kept the flame alive through the years 'till today : The Wild Angels, Crazy Cavan And The Rhythm Rockers, The Flying Saucers, Robert Gordon, The Cramps, The Stray Cats, The Sure Shots, The Planet Rockers, Wild Fire Willie And The Ramblers, Jack Rabbit Slim and the thousands of musicians all over the planet involved into Rock And Roll. Rock And Roll is not a revival thing but, if you want to talk about what's "modern", Rockabilly is the modernest form of "art" that you can dream of. And now : Fuck Art, Let's Dance ! |
