| We Begin our story with the release of a great artist Welton in 2002 and now with nearly a half dozen releases in our catalog, SNAPDRAGONrecords continues to Grow and Build a better label - A Label that signs bands that we can not get enough of and music we love.We see our label as being about Helping bands to get exposure who otherwise may not stand a chance on landing a deal. We feel we can contribute to an other wise weak Music scene in the Midwest by Promoting and exposing to the best of our ability what we feel are bands that are nothing but the best in quality, and personality as artists. It's about the ability to take someones art of music and give them a chance in a very unforgiving industry, by helping Our Artists that create it.We are founded on a dream to be able to be successful and to further our love in music in a way of helping others and being a true light to the industry.As one of the fastest Growing labels in the industry.We are mostly run by people with the same passion on time donated from Peoples daily lives. Snapdragon Records is responsible for seminal releases by I Voted For Kodos,The Starrs,Eighty-d, Welton, Therockband, Lollygag, The Response, Subdue, Eighty-d, The Starrs, A Billion Ernies, & Until I Bleed Dry . SNAPDRAGONrecords is also well known for its two unreleased compilation series: A Long Distance Dedication and Tragedy Hits the Home Front have featured artists such as Allister,Over It,The Early November, Over It, Count The Stars, Small Towns Burn A Little Slower, No Hollywood Ending, and many other bands. In 2006 the label did Vans warped tour and rtists such as Scarry Kids, Scarring kids and the Gym Class HEroes Have BEen Seen Sporting SDR GEAR! A small Passionate crew providea all label services(Mostly non paid) on a in-house DIY Style, basis including mail order, publicity, marketing, radio and tour promotion, street team, graphic design and all internet operations.
