| The Foundry are a three piece rock band from Burnham On Crouch and Chelmsford in Essex. Long time friends Bassist Wayne and Guitarist Howard have been writing songs and playing together since their teens, then in early 2007 Howard decided to invite drummer Brendan for a jam and thus The Foundry was born. The Foundry pride themselves on having a classic rock sound in the vein of Led Zepplin, Deep Purple, The Who etc but with a modern twist. This they try to keep in their recording as much as possible, whilst always trying to come up with different and original material. They strongly believe that there is not enough classic sounding rock bands out there that are doing all their own material and pride themselves on being the ones to fill this niche.
