| ......"M.I.A. aus Leverkusen betraten als 10. und letzte Kandidaten im Feld die Bühne. Die Band spielt ein undefinierbares Kuddelmuddel aus Sixties-Pop und Hardcore. Markenzeichen von M.I.A. sind ein abgedrehtes Bühnen-Outfit sowei eine seit Jahrzehnten nicht mehr erlebte Krawall-Show, die der Band eine rapide wachsende Fangemeinde beschert hat. Leider gab es im Bergisch Gladbacher Publikum ein paar Vollidioten, die den Spaß hinter der Sache nicht verstanden haben und glaubten, M.I.A. rufe zur Gewalt auf. Nachdem direkt neben einem Bühnenhelfer ein Tisch anflog und zu Bruch ging, sowie ein Feuerlöscher Richtung Jury flog und ebenfalls hochging, stand die Veranstaltung kurzzeitig vor dem Abbruch".................................................
