| I am of Scottish, Swedish, Danish, and German descent. I am a stay at home mom with six children. My hometowns are military posts. My father was in the U.S. Army and a Vietnam Veteran. We lived on bases in Europe and here in the U.S. We were stationed in Germany three times. We were stationed at Pedden Barracks (Werthheim)Germany from 1969-70. I was born in Wurzburg. We were stationed at Armstrong Barracks in Budigen/Gelnhausen from 1977-81. We lived in Ortenberg and Allendieback (Hessen) during our stay. We were stationed at Hahn AFB from 1984-1987. We lived in Wuschheim (Hunsruck) and on base. We traveled to most of the countries around Europe during our stay. I would say Sweden and Denmark were very memorable. There is no place I love more. I believe my heart will always be in Europe We moved back to the United States in 1987. We were stationed at Fort Bliss TX where I graduated from Andress (El Paso). Texas and Arizona are my favorite states. My family is from Nebraska where we lived for several years along with living in Oregon and Arizona. I live with my husband and children here in Oregon. It is very much like the Hunsruck in Germany. It has the mountains and the Ocean here. So, I am coming to like it more and more (even the rain)...So it is hard to really like one place when the world is available...Now, as you can see I am a fan of Craig Ferguson. I think laughter is important because life is too short too be depressed and Craig keeps me laughing... Jesus Christ is first and foremost along with my family, and our soldiers are the BEST! | Learning a foreign language(German); reading about a culture I havn't experienced; going to a country I havn't been to; picking up a piece of literature that takes me back to another time in history.
