| Dimitris Polychroniadis and Giorgio Lovecchio have started a prolific collaboration producing music appropriate for the film and television industry.Working on a 'state of the art' studio of Giorgio Lovecchio, located in Rome, they are able to create music in a variety of styles, such as: orchestral , contemporary music, ambient, ethnic, electronic, always trying to expand the music vocabulary.
Using the best equipment of software and hardware, they can ensure that the music that is written and produced satisfies the director's needs for the film. DIMITRIS POLYCHRONIADIS Born in 1980 in Greece-Edessa. He earned his diploma in flute and Orchestration- conducting for concert band from the State Conservatory in Thessaloniki and diploma in Harmony from the Municipal Conservatory in Edessa. In 2004, he started his studies in composition and analysis with Edgar Alandia and Stefano Bracci in the Accademia Internazionale delle Arti “AIDA” in Rome, from which he graduated with honours in 2007. Furthermore, in 2005, he participated in “International music course for film and television” with Francesco De Masi, in Rome and “Film music composition” with the Oscar winning composer Luis Bacalov in Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena. In 2006, he attended to the “Pacific Northwest film scoring program” with the two- time Emmy Award-winning composer Hummie Mann in Edinburgh. Moreover, in 2007, he started to collaborate with the scoring mixer/music engineer Giorgio Lovecchio in Rome, where together they have produced music in variety of styles, appropriate for the film and television industry. In 2001 he entered to the prestigious Università della Musica in Rome where he began a course with great names of the Italian musical panorama (Rocco Zifarelli, Riccardo Biseo, Eric Daniel, and many others).He attended masterclasses with Jeff Berlin, Marc Rossi, Massimo Varini, Virgil Donati, Stanley Jordan. He developed a great passion for jazz and computer music.In August 2004 he attended a course of specialization about musical technologies organized by Midiware Educational ( www.midiware.com ) receiving the Teaching License of Steinberg and Sibelius Certificate Copist. In 2005 he attended an upgrade course by Marco Massimi (sound engineer of Rai Production Center CSS2 in Rome) about audio/video sync techniques in Nuendo 3 and about management of surround sounds format. In 2006 he started to write for the Music Technology didactical section of the dedicated portal www.musicarea.it .From Semptember 2005 until 2007 he's teaching Musical Theory, Music Notation and Steinberg software at the faculty of D.A.T. (Digital Audio Technology) in Università della Musica in Rome and in March 2006 he become the Director of the faculty. In July 2006 he began Apple certifications paths for the suite Final Cut Proat the famous ID4 Academy by Paolo Benassi ( www.id4.it ). In April 2007 he recorded for Splasch Records "GOTA 17" by LUSI-MASCIARI QUARTET with the famous players Pietro and Pino Iodice, Luca Pirozzi,Aldo Bassi. In the same period he worked as sound engineer for the famous italian doublebass player GIORGIO ROSCIGLIONE recording for UM Records "ROSCIGLIONE PLAYS DUKE ELLINGTON".In 2007 he received 2 new certifications: PT100 and PT110 for Protools software and also he became Sibelius 5 Italian Beta Tester. He started to work regularly as Scoring Mixer for film music with the greek composer DIMITRIS POLYCHRONIADISand with ROBERTO UGOLINI for RaiTrade (italian Tv division). Actually he's engaged in the production of his first CD release as producer,composer,player and arranger.
